The Morningstar Market Barometer
|
The Morningstar Market Barometer lets you see how the stock market is performing in better detail than just looking at the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the NASDAQ Composite Index or the S&P 500 Index. It also includes areas of the stock market not covered by those indexes.
The market barometer divides the stock market into large, mid and small cap stocks and then further divides them into Value, Growth, and a blend called Core.

Some days you'll see these asset classes moving uniformly in the same direction while other days you'll see them all jumbled up. The stock market isn't always a very homogeneous place.
